Race Day is Saturday, September 1, 2012!
The Great Wagon Days Duck Race is a Labor Day weekend institution. This beloved event is a must for Wood River locals and visitors in the know. You don’t want to miss your chance to see thousands upon thousands bright yellow ducks racing down the Big Wood River.
That’s right, tens of thousands plastic ducks racing down the river to win up to $1,000,000 and a big pile of other wonderful prizes. Of course, you can’t win a prize if you don’t play! Find out how to get a duck here.
On Race Day there will be a band for your listening and dancing enjoyment, and games for the kids. Local purveyors will provide a bevy of food and drink options sure to please even the pickiest culinarian.
Ducks are available for purchase from any Ketchum / Sun Valley Rotarian, Blaine County Search and Rescue Member, or any Board Member from the Sawtooth Board of Realtors Community Foundation.

Party starts at 1:00pm, Race will start around 3:00 and prizes will be announced after the race is completed and the results tabulated.

Where:
Rotary Park: Warm Springs Road at Saddle Road
Thousands upon thousands of ducks will be launched in the Wood River at the Warm Springs bridge and will race to the finish line at Rotary Park. Limited bleacher seating is available at the finish line.
What Else?
Prizes: Prize winners and prizes will be announced at the party on race day. Winners do not need to be present to win.
